POEMS FOR THE SOUL
Dreams Grizzly goouls
Cars over cliffs
Train wrecks, Explosions,
Knifes, Guns, and Sticks.

Life overhanging,
Death so clear.
Sins of our Fathers,
Mothers so dear.

Light slowly enters,
Dark ebs away.
Good night Dear people,
As dreams come to play.
When we strike out at
people we hurt them,
The way they hurt us...
We suffer.

We suffer the quilt,
Of giving pain.
We carry that pain, that guilt,
Until we die.

And on the day we die,
That guilt, that pain,
Is intensified.
Wondering if we were
ever forgiven.
Even when we couldn't
Forgive ourselves.

But do we carry that pain,
Past death?.... Or
Do we shed it with our skin?

Like a snake in changing
Seasons.
Or do we carry it with our,
Soul where ever it may go?
